Supporting Children with Disabilities & Their Families

Cerebral Palsy (CP) Kids and Families is hosting an Adopt-a-Family program this December to support families raising children with disabilities in Calgary and area. The donation and fundraising program helps give families a better holiday season with grocery store gift cards, cash, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential items.

4Seasons Adopts 6 Families this Holiday Season

4Seasons Transportation answered CP Kids and Families' call for support by adopting 6 families this December. Many children hope for gifts this season, but some families are not able to afford them this year. Adopting a family that is raising a child with a physical disability this holiday season provides more than gifts under the tree - it also ensures families in need are able to put food on their tables and stay healthy with grocery and essential item donations.

"The holidays are an exciting time, but can also be stressful," says Brooke Garcia, CEO, 4Seasons Transportation. "We're happy to help CP Kids and Families provide families in need with support and hope this holiday season. We encourage all Calgarians to get involved and support in any way they can."

You Can Help

Any amount - big or small goes a long way to help families raising children with disabilities in Calgary and area. Support a family in need this holiday season by providing gifts, household essentials, or a financial donation:

  • Grocery store gift cards: Throughout the holiday season many families struggle to put food on their table. You can help out by donating $25 gift cards to our Adopt-A-Family program.
  • Walmart gift cards: Many children hope for gifts this season, but some families are not able to afford them this year. You can help by donating $25 or more Walmart gift cards.
  • Essential items. Everyday items can be a stretch to attain for a family in need. You can help by dropping these items off directly at CP Kids and Families office (#121 - 7015 MacLeod Trail SW): laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, feminine hygiene products, and deodorant.

Thank you for providing families with support and hope during the holidays.
